Meet the Photographer
Hey, my name is Maddy
Photography has been a way for me to express and capture the fleeting moments that make life so beautiful. What draws me in the most is the way light and color can transform a scene—there’s something magical about the golden hour, where everything seems to glow with a deep warmth. I’m drawn to deep, rich colors because they evoke emotion and tell a story beyond just the image itself. Creative portrait photography, in particular, allows me to bring out a person’s true essence while also experimenting with artistic elements to make each photo unique. I love the challenge of capturing people in their most authentic moments—whether that’s during senior shoots, engagements, homecoming, prom, or with pets, families, and couples. Every session brings its own special energy, and it’s such a joy to be part of these important milestones in people’s lives.
But here’s a little more about me, the girl behind the camera...
I’m 20 years old, and thanks to my parents being in the military, I’ve lived all over the place. That kind of upbringing gave me a deep appreciation for how different life can look in every corner of the world—and how precious it is to have something that feels like home, even if it's temporary. I come from a big, close-knit family (so don’t be surprised if I get a little emotional during your family shoot!) and I have the sweetest dog named Rory who’s basically my shadow.
Before photography, my world revolved around competitive cheerleading. I’ve cheered my whole life and continued into college, during my career, I was lucky enough to win around 20 national championship titles and even placed 2nd at NCA College Nationals—one of the biggest events in the sport. Cheer taught me discipline, how to work under pressure, and most importantly, how to bring passion into everything I do. That same energy flows into my photography. I want each shoot to feel alive, intentional, and full of heart.
My dream is to one day have a sweet family of my own, fill our home with all the pets I can, and travel the world together. If I could, I’d love to become a world-traveling photographer—capturing love, life, and real moments in every corner of the globe.
Until then, I’ll be right here, turning memories into something you can hold onto forever.
