FAQ
Do you travel for photoshoots?
Yes, I can definitely travel for shoots! I do include travel fees depending on the location—just let me know where and when, and I can provide a full quote.
What should we wear for our session?
Great question! What you wear really helps set the tone for the shoot. I usually recommend outfits that make you feel confident and comfortable—solid colors work best, and it’s a good idea to avoid bold patterns or big logos since they can be distracting in photos- unless it is a college commitment shirt (or something of that nature). My personal favorite is Neutral colors; they give you a chance to shine and make the background pop!
If it’s a couples or family shoot, coordinating outfits in similar color tones (without matching exactly) looks great on camera.
I put together a style guide below, it’ll have outfit tips, color palettes, and examples to help you plan. If you are still unsure, feel free to send over a few outfit ideas if you’d like a second opinion—I’m happy to help!
How long does it take to get our photos?
You can expect to receive your final gallery no later than 2.5 to 3 weeks after the date of your shoot. I always aim to deliver sooner, when possible, but I like to take the time to make sure every image is edited with care and intention. I’ll also keep you updated along the way, so you’re never left wondering!
Do you offer albums or prints?
I don’t currently offer prints or albums, but once I deliver your final digital gallery, you’re more than welcome to download and print your photos wherever you like! The gallery makes it super easy to download high-resolution images that are print-ready. If you ever need recommendations for quality print shops, I’m happy to share some.
Do you retouch photos?
All photos are edited in my signature style—the same look you’ll see across my portfolio and social media. I focus on natural, clean editing that enhances the photo without overdoing it. I don’t do heavy retouching like airbrushing or major alterations unless it’s specifically requested. That said, I’m always happy to take care of temporary things like covering up a bruise, blemish, or small distraction—just let me know!
Can I get the raw (unedited) photos?
I don’t deliver raw or unedited files. Part of the value in my work is the editing process—it’s where your photos really come to life and reflect the style you see in my portfolio. The raw files are unfinished and not a true representation of the final product I aim to give you. I promise you’ll receive a fully polished gallery of high-quality images that tell your story beautifully!
Where will the shoot take place? Can you help pick a location?
I’m happy to meet you at a location of your choice, but if you’re not sure where to shoot—I’ve got you covered! I have a list of go-to spots I can recommend based on the vibe you’re going for, whether it’s something natural, urban, etc. Just let me know what you’re envisioning, and I’ll help you find the perfect place!

How Should you plan for your shoot?
Hey! I’m so excited to work with you. Whether it’s your first time in front of the camera or you’re a total pro, this guide will help you feel confident, prepared, and totally ready to show up and shine on shoot day!
What to Wear
Solid colors photograph best—think neutrals, earth tones, soft pastels, or deep jewel tones.
Avoid busy patterns, neon colors, or large logos—they can distract from your face and throw off the aesthetic.
For couples or groups: aim for coordinated colors rather than matching outfits. Think complementary tones, not identical shirts!
Comfort matters! If we’re shooting outdoors, consider the weather and terrain (heels in a field might not be your best friend).
Flowy dresses, cozy sweaters, or fitted basics always photograph well.
Hair, Makeup & Grooming
Do what makes you feel like you! If you feel best with a full face or prefer minimal makeup—go for it.
Bring lip balm or a touch-up product with you, especially for longer sessions.
Freshly washed, styled hair and trimmed facial hair (if applicable) go a long way.
What to Bring
A second outfit if you’re unsure or want options before the shoot starts.
Touch-up essentials (powder, comb, lip balm).
Water & snacks if it’s a longer session or hot.
Any props that are meaningful or fun—hats, blankets, flowers, etc.
Day-of Tips
Try to get a good night’s sleep the night before.
Eat something beforehand so you have energy (seriously—it helps!).
Arrive a few minutes early so we can settle in and start relaxed.
Don’t stress about posing—I’ll guide you every step of the way!
Location Tips
Not sure where to shoot? I’ve got a list of beautiful, tried-and-true locations I can recommend—from scenic outdoor spots to cool urban backdrops. Let me know the vibe you’re going for, and I’ll help choose a perfect place. Or, if you already have a location in mind, I’m happy to meet you there!
Most Important: Just Be You
The best photos happen when you're relaxed, comfortable, and being yourself. Don’t worry about being "perfect"—this is all about capturing your unique vibe and story.
Don'ts Before Your shoot
Don’t try a new haircut or color right before. Stick with a look you know and love—last-minute hair changes can lead to stress or regret on camera.
Don’t do a heavy facial or intense skincare treatment. Redness or irritation can pop up unexpectedly—keep it gentle leading up to the shoot.
Don’t wear tight clothing right before the session. Items like tight socks, bras, or jeans can leave marks on your skin that might show up in photos.
Don’t show up rushed or stressed. Give yourself plenty of time to get ready and arrive—calm energy translates beautifully on camera.
Don’t skip meals. A light snack or meal beforehand keeps your energy up and helps you feel your best.
Don’t worry about being “photogenic.” That’s my job—to bring out your light, your story, and your most natural self.
Don’t bring outfits you don’t feel confident in. If it doesn’t feel like you, it won’t photograph like you. Comfort = confidence.
Don’t forget to steam or iron your clothes. Wrinkles can be distracting and hard to edit out, so prep your outfits ahead of time.
Don’t overthink posing. I’ll guide you every step of the way—just come as you are, and we’ll create something beautiful together.
